Baseball Update: We Have An Unassisted Put Out

Andrew recorded his first unassisted put out during a game today. 5U for those keeping score at home. Hot roller just to his left, he scooped it up and ran to third ahead of the runner. A proud moment for me.

Of course during last weeks game, our 2nd baseman, Jacob recorded 4 (four) (quattro), 1 more than 3, unassisted put outs in the same inning. That has to be some sort of record, beating the previous league record which was no doubt 1. In addition he was also part of a 1-4 double play in that same inning.

Einstein could not have calculated those odds.
